This common kitchen ingredient is the secret to effectively shed off acne and gives your face a natural, beautiful glow. But how?

Apple Cider Vinegar For Acne: The Best Way To Achieve That Clearer, Glowing Skin

Our skin is naturally acidic. Everytime we use harsh soaps or facial wash, that natural acidity is disrupted which destroys the acid mantle of our skin. This acid mantle is the one that protects our skin from germs, bacteria and pollution.

With apple cider vinegar, it returns the acidity to our skin and restores the acid mantle, thus kills bacteria, dries out zits, removes excess dirt, oil and makeup and dissolves whiteheads and dead skin cells. Thus, gives you a clearer, glowing skin.

Do this every night before going to bed and then wash the vinegar off your face in the morning. It’s best not to apply the vinegar during the day as it can have a very noticeable, strong smell.

Do not use your fingers. Fingers can often aggregate your skin and lead to more blemishes if they are not clean.

4. If you have a sensitive skin, dilute the vinegar by adding more water and only use a minimal amount of apple cider vinegar.

5. More so, another way to treat acne and detoxify your body is to drink apple cider vinegar. Mix 2 tablespoons of the apple cider vinegar to a glass of water. You can add a small amount of honey to enhance the taste.

6. Do not use the apple cider vinegar with other medications, it will make the condition worse as it worsens the drying effect on your skin.

7. But if your acne hasn’t cleared up in several weeks after using apple cider vinegar, it is better to seek further advise with your dermatologist.
