Salmonella poisoning symptoms or (Salmonellosis), popularly known as food poisoning, is an illness caused by eating foods or water that are contaminated with Salmonella enterica bacterium.
This contamination is usually caused by unsanitary cooking and handling of foods. Foods that are being contaminate by the unwashed hands of an infected food handler. Salmonella may also be found in the feces of animals that are mixed together during food preparation or when you forgot washing your hands after having contact with the animals. More so, improper storage can contaminate foods and eating foods that are passed by its expiry date.
Foods that are commonly infected with Salmonella are the ones that are eaten, raw (japanese foods like sushi and maki), some ready-to-eat foods, eggs, shellfish, and unpasteurized milk.
