You think it sounds odd to hear about having allergies to exercise, right? But this condition do actually exist, in fact this condition is among the most common causes of itchy legs while taking a long run.
As you run around the park or just on a treadmill, you might experience an itchy sensation spread across your legs. Although your itchy legs might be caused by the exercise itself, they might be caused by allergies, this phenomenon is known as exercise induced urticaria.
Exercise-induced urticaria is a condition that causes hives and other allergic symptoms that occurs during or after exercise. Those hives or “welts” are usually raised, flat bumps on the skin that are more red around the edge than in the middle. Hives may also look like red spots, blotches or blisters that may occur on any part of the body.
As the hives spread, the skin looks red and blotchy and becomes extremely itchy.

In other cases, eating certain foods before exercise may make allergic symptoms more likely to occur. Hence,you better keep track of what you eat before exercising for a few weeks. If you notice a pattern to your symptoms that seems to be related to a certain food, stop eating it for a while and see if the hives stop. Also, your doctor may tell you not to exercise for 4 to 6 hours after you eat.
